Advanced Course on Endovascular Surgery

The 1st Advanced Course on Endovascular Surgery  “Complex Aortic Aneurysms”  took place at The Samaritano Hospital, São Paulo, Brazil,  from on October 3-6/07, with the participation of 42 Vascular Surgeons from all over Brazil and from other South American Countries . Seven live cases, inclusive of an Hybrid procedure were performed during this course with the participation of the registrants.

Because of the striking success of the first Course two others were undertaken in year 2008- “Complex Aortic Aneurysm and Dissection - module II and “Complex Lesions of the Supra-aortic Trunks”. In year 2009 the Complex Aortic Aneurysms and Dissection Course was repeated with the addition of live case demonstrations of  the brand new Sandwich Techniques, recently introduced by Armando Lobato, MD.
